I have tried alot of taco seasonings from alot of different brands but I always come back to this one. It has a great taste and delivers some heat without being too spicy. It makes our taco meat have a bit of a “thick sauce” instead of just flavoring the meat like some other seasoning which I like. I have tried it using grout turkey/ chicken/ beef and it always tastes good. Sometimes I add slightly more water than the directions indicate to make it a little more saucey. I have also occasionally added it to other recipes to when I want a southwest flavor- but I would say the seasoning packet really works its magic on ground meat for tacos!

Best dip mix and taco flavoring ever! Easy to use, and flavor is wonderful! Excellent to mix with sour cream and can be served as a dip or on top of dishes.

Always in my cabinet – always my go to and I gift this packet as well. It’s a bit on the spicy side so I don’t use a whole packet, instead I use half to 3/4. Then I use it to flavor chili, or sprinkle on nachos as a spice mix, like a chili powder with a big flavor kick. I normally assemble my own authentic tasting Mexican spices for tacos, nachos, burritos. But now I have this Simply Organic Southwest Taco spice mix as my favorite back-up when I need it to be a no-fail flavor, I have it! Thank you for making reliable, sustainable and tested for lead products!

Flavor is great. It’s a good value for the money since it’s organic. We use it for many different dishes not just tacos.
