The description described pieces between 0.25 and 0.5 inches which is VERY misleading. The largest pieces were around 0.375 with the average being much closer to 0.125. Otherwise, picture is fairly representative.

Its even better than the pictures, some streaks of white but a nice deep black substrate for one of my hang-on theme breeder boxes. Just fancy daycaee for baby fish but since they are so small I can spring for nice natural substrate like this. Needs a soak and water test for anything contaminations and clean them before I can use it, but very pleased by the large to small variety of crystals. I will be able to make a great black ricefish tank with this stuff. I already plan further purchases with this seller.

Item product image showed a hot pink aura quartz, what arrived was pale baby pink. It was also only half the weight it was supposed to be. I ordered 1lb, and received a little.over 8 ounces. Looks like someone grabbed the wrong package.

Great carnelian chips most are deeply Red/Orange color and am surprised at the amount I got.
