These are really beautiful, sturdy, large, slippery and STINKY. The booklet is a wonder of vocabulary words which… Might work as inspiration if you need some ideas or read by the “intuition movie” method rather than the “traditional meaning” method. They aren’t consistent with normal Rider Waite Smith interpretations. I keep incense in the lovely sturdy box… Which has a magnet closure, people. Don’t be like me and open it from the end which was slightly wonky. Thank you glue gun. All better now. Also the colors… If you need to see blue skies and water and cloud colors in order to interpret anything…. This deck will give you trouble. It’s gold. Beautiful shiny reflective gold. (There are other colors as the photos show… But subtlety is lost)
I love it… But if you want to discern storm clouds from sunny skies…. This is not the deck for that. Pick one that is NOT irridescent. I’ve used it a ton in the last week and it still smells… But it’s beginning to fade slightly. In time and use I think it will calm down. I hope.

Beautiful tarot deck. My photos do not do the cards justice. The cards are shiny but not difficult to read. The cards really “pop” with the rider waite illustrations and the gold foil brings the deck to life. I highly recommend this deck. They do have a slight chemical odor upon opening the package but I put them in a selenite dish and lit a sage candle and the odor disapated within a few hours. Because of the foil the cards are a bit slippery but this also helps with shuffling.

I am beyond impressed! This is my new favorite deck! The photos really do it no justice. First of all they really have a gold tone finish. I love that they are not made of flimsy paper, they feel “buttery smooth” to shuffle. This is a full size Rider Waite version Tarot Deck, 78 cards including the Major and Minor Arcana. These cards are made of PVC plastic and are in no way thin, they have a beautiful antique gold finish, type look yet the colors are vibrant enough to read. They come well packaged and in a storage box for keeping. The price point vs the actual product 10/10, definitely recommend this to any collector, beginner, or novice reader!

Given the low price, I had low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. I bought them as a gift for someone, and they were absolutely delighted. The art on them is beautifully rendered- better than I had expected. It’s basically just a refined and beautified version of the old RW art; so nothing revolutionary there, but even then it’s one of the prettier renditions of that style i’ve seen. And shiney!
It’s made of a synthetic substance, but still feels nice, not too ‘plasticy’. The fact that it’s not made of card stock may be a minus for some. Also, the cards are very slippery against each other because of the material they’re made from. Again, that could be a plus or a minus depending on personal preference. Personally, I think they’re great.

I love this deck. It has the traditional Ryder Waite images, is sparkly, and is super easy to shuffle. It’s a really beautiful deck and I love it already. I do a lot of readings and my decks can get pretty worn pretty quickly. I like that these are durable and bendable so they don’t get beat up the way cardstock does. I bought a set of the pink cards for a friend of mine and she loves her deck too! Highly recommend!

The cards are a gorgeous quality, with a truly vibrant sheen to them. They’re honestly easier to shuffle than many other decks I’ve practiced with. Very flexible but also maintain their shape. The texture of the cards add a little something to the process of divination in my opinion.
I would have given the cards a 5 star review, except for a few things:
– The card-box is well made, but includes a typo on the inside sleeve (see photo; “exptoring” instead of exploring) which isn’t a problem if you plan on storing your cards in something other than the original box. But some people might like to keep the original box, in which case the typo can be disappointing.
– Others have mentioned it, but it’s worth repeating: the cards have a strong chemical smell. I’m sure it has something to do with the dyes/material of the cards during manufacture. I’ve just opened them today, and I’ve left them out for airing out and cleansing (sun/moon energies, quartz crystals and sage). The smell does start to go away after a few hours, and I suspect if you’re willing to leave them out for a few days, the smell may become completely unnoticeable.
– I noticed when shuffling that my hands/fingers retained some sort of a thin film grain type feel from the cards. Again, something that probably goes away with time. But the cards don’t have any warnings on them about any potential cancer causing agents… whether that’s true or not. So keep this in mind and please either wipe your cards down before use or make sure to keep washing your hands each time you use them.
Overall, I was quite pleased with the look and feel of the cards. The colors and textures make them a joy to work with for divination, and the reference booklet (while very basic) is a handy tool for beginners who are just starting to get familiar with tarot.

The deck arrived on the same day as I ordered. The cards are beautiful, very shiny in a darker room, and not so much under day light. The cards might be a bit thin, but they are easy to shuffle with my small hands, and you can easily get a couple of cards jumping out during shuffle, which I like 🙂 On the first day, there was a strong metallic smell from the cards, but they went away after a few times usage.

These cards are absolutely gorgeous! They’re very beautiful and stunning. They are very easy to work with and I simply do not understand reviews claiming they’re hard to shuffle. They could not be easier to shuffle. HOWEVER, I am surprised that nobody else mentioned yet how EXTREMELY STINKY these cards are. It’s an odor similar to strong glue combined with paint fumes perhaps? They’re truly very noxious. I let incense smoke saturate them and placed them in front of a fan all night, but in the morning they were still emitting a toxic odor. So….I placed them outside to air out, hoping that will help. I imagine the strong odor must eventually dissipate, and hopefully it will do so very soon. I never had cards emit such a strong odor before. It’s surprising, but probably has to do with the hologram manufacturing process? Once the odor dispels they’ll be great.

Me sorprendió la hermosura y gran calidad de estas cartas del Tarot. Las cartas son de color oro holográfico iridiscente, con destellos de colores y sus dibujos son muy parecidos a las cartas clásicas que son tan populares; son muy suaves al tacto y se deslizan con facilidad. Estas cartas son algo más oscuras que las normales de papel y tienen un porte de la antigüedad de exquisito lujo. Estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.
