The Hipat whistles compare very favorably with the Acme Thunderer whistle which is made in the UK. The Hipat whistle is stainless steel, compared with the Acme Thunderer which is made of brass with nickel plating. They are both very high quality whistles in all respects. I have an Acme Thunderer that I have carried daily for about 50 years, yes, 50 years. I have given lots of whistles to friends and recently ran out. I discovered the Hipat whistles when searching for a new supply of gift whistles, the Hipats have been very well received. The image has Hipat on Right, Thunderer on Left.

I got this six pack stainless steel whistle rather than a plastic one because metal blows louder than plastic. It did a great job of being a crisp loud whistle. I gave every adult family member a whistle to put on their key chain to deter any approaching criminals to alert others in their surroundings with the sounds of the loud whistle. The whistle can be used for other things than sports.

I bought the 6 pack, the package even said “6 pack” but there were only 4 in the box. The whistles are pretty flimsy but they work. Can I get the other 2 I paid for?

If you’re looking for an affordable whistle to get the job done then order this one. The whistle lasted for about three 3hr practices before it started giving me issues. I had to shake the whistle for the inside ball to not stick in order to use it. These work but I do suggest finding an alternative if you’re looking for a durable long lasting one.

I am very happy with this purchase but wait… more great news….. if you buy these on days of the week with a “Y” you get 6.
I bought these for myself and wife so that we could get our dogs attention when we were on our off grid property. Neither of us whistle very loudly and these things can be heard across 20 acres of land easily. We did train the dogs for about a month before letting them run loose but it works like a charm and we we can let them run off into tho distance knowing they will come running for a treat.
Did I mention you get 6? We leave couple in the cabin and 1 in each car and have one each for everyday use.
I highly recommend this versatile and useful product. It’s probably pretty good for referees too!

The media could not be loaded.
As stated in my title, and on the video, these are great whistles. The video sound doesn’t do it justice, I think because of noise cancellation, so it sounds weak. But these whistles put out a deafening sound. I would recommend buying these 100% over $30 and $40 single whistles.
