The deck is very nice, with really good pictures for the major and minor arcana. The card stock is also very sturdy, and has a nice feel. The enclosed booklet inside gives enough info on the cards both upright and upside down (for those who don’t know how to read the cards). A great deck for Trekkies.

I expected it to be just a cheap gimmick but it’s actually fantastic quality. The artwork is top notch, the choices for the cards are thoughtful, the book is well done, and the cards are good quality.
I’m actually really surprised at the couple of reviews complaining about the card quality — these are of much better quality than other novelty decks I’ve bought. My nicer decks were a lot more expensive and definitely not novelty.
Aside from the court cards, the minor arcana are fairly basic, just increasing the number of the suit item per card. But they’re nicely done. I also enjoy that each is themed to Star Trek instead of keeping the traditional arcana.
My only quality complaint: The glue binding the book is too weak and started to separate at the cover. It’s a shame because the book itself is otherwise of good quality, on nice glossy paper. And it’s quite enjoyable to read through. It isn’t likely to fall apart entirely, though, based on the way it’s bound, so I don’t consider it a dealbreaker.
Overall, I’m very happy with this deck and plan to use it often.

This is a well produced specialty deck that will appeal to you if you are a Super Fan of the show. The creators have a good understanding of the Tarot, as well as a in depth comprehension of the series and all the characters. This was not slapped together, it is very well thought out. The suits are a bit irritating and will take some getting used to to translate Pentacles into Latinum, for example. The suits are Latinum, Cloaks, Starships, and BatLeths. My single complaint is that it is easy to shuffle but the cards all stick together. So you need to cut the cards decisively and select one from a chunk. They do not flow very well. I have about160 decks, and I read cards daily. I shuffle quickly and I love it when cards fly out. That will not happen with this deck. It seems to stay clumpy. That said, I am very happy with this purchase. The illustrations are accurate, the booklet is very helpful. You will probably need to read each definition. Reversal definitions are included. A very very nice choice to give as a gift. We’ll done!

The cards are great quality, feel thick and comfortable in the hand and the art is utterly beautiful. The guidebook is also pretty amazing. I only got it because nerd but even as someone with a passive awareness of tarot decks, this one is really well designed and recommendable for that reason.

Nice thick cards. The imagery is fantastic and choice of characters to represent the Major Arcana works well.
The only drawback I’ve found is that the finish is matt so the cards don’t necessarily move well against each other, for example, when shuffling them. But I’m sure this will change over time as the cards get used.

If you are a fan of NG and practice tarot, this is the deck to get. The characters from the series is well paired with the associated tarot cards. It is enjoyable to do a spread with these. The minor suits are cleverly done as well.

The book, while wording things in a clearly Star Trekkish manner, is also quite straightforward, much more so than other tarot booklets I’ve seen, so I think this is a GREAT deck for novices.
The cards are a little bit difficult to shuffle when brand new, but that eases over time as you use them more so don’t let that put you off. They seem to be good quality, and the box they come in is also nice and sturdy, and suitable for storage.

This is the PERFECT gift for someone who is both a Trekie (ESPECIALLY a TNG Trekie) AND a tarot enthusiast!!
The artwork is lovely, I recognized almost all of the faces without even peeking at the guide book, AND they made sense! Whoever made this deck took the time to choose each character for the perfect card rather than just slapping them on randomly. I also LOVE that you can instantly tell the difference between Data and Lore by the facial expression alone! Considering both characters are not only played by the same character but meant to be identical twins in physical appearance, this was no easy feat.
The box is nice and well decorated, the cards feel sturdy and I had no problem shuffling them. The book, although I’ve barely glanced at it YET, looks to be a very well done companion guide.
I have no doubt I’m going to be enjoying this deck for many years to come. Just as I enjoyed the show it’s based on.

I love that there are Start Trek: Next Generation tarot cards. That, in and of itself, is fabulous! However, none of the number cards have images of characters, rather, they only show bars of latinum, bat’leths, the Enterprise, or Romulan Warbirds depending upon the suit. Only the major arcana have images of the characters, which I think is a real loss. The color scheme of the suits is also a bit strange given that they are ultimately derived from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Despite these shortcomings, however, the colors are good, the thickness is good, and I think the cards and box are of a nice quality. Especially for the price.

I got this as a gift for my friend and she adores it! She’s a long time trek fan who loves tarot, so combining these two was fantastic.
The cards feel well made and aren’t flimsy at all and the art is lovely!
