This was carefully packaged and is a beautiful turquoise color. The sound quality is ok. I wish it was more melodic sounding with the use of fingers. My guess is that those large ones that you see on YouTube are made differently for sound. I wish the book had more well known melodies. It sounds good with the drumsticks provided. Overall it is a very good drum for the money

I bought this as a surprise gift for my grandson’s 16th birthday. He is a musician and plays drums, guitar, keyboard and anything he picks up. He was very pleased with the blue color and the sound. He has taken it with him camping and to a school outing. I’m glad he is enjoying it!

I’m a bit disappointed. The build quality isn’t great, the edges of the tongues are uneven, and the sound is kinda dull, not clear or crisp, definitely not as airy or ethereal as I expected. Returning it.

This is the second time I’ve bought this particular drum. Both were gifts and very well received. This came double boxed without requesting it to be, so that when it was removed from the Amazon box, the next box was in perfect condition, ready to be wrapped for gift giving. I will be buying more from this seller in the future, the price was great and the drum is beautiful. Good size, lots of notes.
