The chips taste as good as the whole grain based chips. I only gave it 4 stars because l ordered them two separate times and the chips in both boxes were broken up. I guess that helps the bag last a little longer (chuckle). I would not recommend getting them if you hate broken chips or need them in good shape. You can see smashed bags in the box, as if the people who packaged them threw them into the box and forced the top of the box down on them. It has been a long time since l purchased chips in boxes from a store so l don’t know if broken chips is normal. There are also only two flavors. There are 40 bags of chips in the box which would be a good value if they arrived in good shape.

These SunChips were delivered fast and this is an awesome deal on over 100 individual bags! My daughter loves these in her lunch for school and it is impossible to find the individual bags of only one flavor, which is her favorite! Also, if you look at the price of around $4-$5 for a regular size bag of SunChips with only several ounces of chips, getting over 100 ounces for this price is a great deal, not to mention the convenience of having the individual bags! If you love a specific flavor of SunChips, then this is the deal for you!

SunChips are one of my favourite chips and the original flavour is no longer sold in Canada. They are delicious. They arrived decently well packed in a large box. No packing material so they did get rattled around a bit but they aren’t all broken into crumbs so I guess it worked ok.
$167 is a crazy price for 64 bags of chips (for $167, I counted to be sure they were all there!). I’d love to see an option for a smaller amount and maybe some different shipping options to make it a little more affordable. Large (full) size bags would also be nice. The expiry date didn’t bother me, I have 3 weeks to eat them and I think they’ll be fine for awhile past the official expiry anyway. Really wish they had these in Canada because I can’t justify almost $200 for chips. But what a nice treat to enjoy them once.

Honestly… this is a fantastic deal! (At around $50. When I got it. I notice the price randomly jumps to like $80 for a few days, then back down to $50. So I suggest if it’s that high, just watch it for a few days or a week. It will probably be much cheaper.)
I usually take a bag with me to work for a snack, and the pack I get at Sam’s is roughly half the price for 30 bags. These are also actually ALMOST the exact same size (maybe these are like .1 or .2 oz less. And of what I’ve eaten, totally fresh.
The best by date is close, like in 3 weeks. But just gotta remember, it’s a “best by” date. Not an expiration date. They are still absolutely fine for months after that. Lol
I guess I’ll note, the box was open when arrived. The tape was still attached to one side of the top flap, but not holding anything together. The other flap was pretty much open. I don’t think any were missing. And not sure if that’s an Amazon roughly handling thing, or Frito-Lay co maybe needing better tape, or just a one off thing. But it is all fine.
If you like Sun Chips, and are ok with the BB date relatively close, I say get them! Especially if you add them to like a lunch bag (school or work), you’ll really save money instead of getting elsewhere.
