So I am very disappointed that my once favorite morning drink, SUPER COFFEE, has changed their recipe and now has added the artificial sweetener SUCRALOSE which could be very harmful to your health. My healthy Supermarket won’t even carry it anymore. I did email the company and they replied saying that the drink still has mostly MONK FRUIT as a sweetener, but they did feel it was necessary to replace the other sweetener which was STEVIA with SUCRALOSE. I hope they lose enough customers to change it back to using STEVIA again or just all MONK FRUIT. I did see that the big bargain stores are now carrying it and not the healthy Supermarkets so what does that tell you!!! I thought it was such a nice story about these three brothers who created this drink in their dorm room since they wanted a healthier alternative drink in the morning. But I wonder now if they will even drink it???

It’s a good substitute for bulletproof coffee.The only problem is that it’s sweetened with sucralose, which is detrimental to health, especially altering DNA. I would petition the Maker.Wood would eliminate sucralose and substitute it with monk fruit or stevia

To start, I’m not a coffee drinker but I decided to give this a try because I really did need the extra energy. The Vanilla was not bad, a little sweet but to my liking, the Mocha was pretty bland but me being someone that does a lot of cooking I figured mixing the two would be a winner, and it is. I tried the caramel later and it tastes a lot like the vanilla, maybe a little bit better. I am going to re-order this although I think it’s rather pricey, but the fact that it comes in resealable bottles sold me. I can open three bottles, mix them to the flavor I like, and reseal them all for the next day. I’m going to reorder right now so I have a months supply. If you’re someone that drinks multiple cups of coffee a day I’d have to think hard about this because it is rather expensive. I’ll just stick with one drink a day, and nixed like I mentioned it is very enjoyable!

I’m aware of 3 iterations of Super Coffee. The first iteration that I tried was really good, had foil under the cap, and a plastic seal that needed to be removed to open the bottle. I think it was sweetened with Stevia, and I loved the flavor.
The second iteration removed the necessity of removing the foil to open the bottle, but as far as I know, nothing changed about the formula.
The latest iteration also doesn’t require removing a foil layer to open the bottle, but has switched to Monkfruit as a sweetener rather than Stevia, and the flavor has suffered as a result. Some mornings I can tolerate it, but most of the time I find it just bad.
I primarily drink the Caramel, Hazelnut, or Mocha flavors.

This coffee is a great option for “health” aware people. Personally, vanilla and caramel are my favorite flavors. No weird aftertaste. Love the low sugar/10g of protein in each bottle. Make sure you shake the bottle and drink it cold.

I really enjoyed these flavors and they’re nice and handy for a quick grab on the go of protein and coffee. I even shared a couple with my friend as I don’t drink chocolate due to an allergy and he said he liked it quite a bit would definitely recommend if you don’t like sweet and low or equal you could definitely taste that artificial sweetener taste, which I did not mind that I definitely noticed it Did not seem chalky like a protein powder at all

They made a white chocolate mint flavor in the past I adored. This peppermint bark flavor is chocolate-y with an assertive peppermint flavor. If that’s your thing, you’ll love it. For me, it had the mint flavor of a mouthwash. But it’s growing on me. These 70-calorie, high-protein coffees are the perfect treat!

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener, but you get what you pay for. Sucralose is linked to DNA damage, poor gut health, inflammation, stress, and cancer by increasing expression of genes associated with these traits, according to a study done at UNC and NCSU. The flavor is delicious, but I wish they’d tweak the recipe.

When did they replace natural stevia with SUCRALOSE? I’ve been having symptoms from it for a couple months but wrongly trusted your company and didn’t look at ingredients. Figured I was doing something else to cause the symptoms.
Now you even have protein and I was ready to subscribe purchase. Why did you decide to put this poison in your ‘healthy’ coffee drink, why didn’t you tell us, and WHEN ARE YOU CHANGING IT BACK?! Look at all the reviews and rehab or fire the instigator of this travesty, PLEASE.

I drink one of these per day as a replacement for snack and a coffee. I love the flavor and consistency. Not chalky and no weird after-taste. Having had bariatric surgery, I find these to be one of the few convenience foods/drinks I can consume without stomach upset and without guilt. The caffeine content is about the same as one cup of coffee. These drinks do not need to be stored in the refrigerator unless you open them. They seem to have a decent shelf-life. I buy two cases of them at a time. When the peppermint (which is seasonally available) is not an option, I buy the mocha or caramel options. I highly recommend this product.

See update below. Good product, just watch out for a recent issue where the ‘Mocha Latte’ is actually now ‘Lean Iced Latte’.
Update: The seller responded: “We recently updated the packaging for our lattes and made a slight formula improvement to deliver better nutrition.” So, from what I now understand, all future orders for ‘Mocha Latte’ will be the new ‘Lean Iced Latte.’

I love this line of products and have been drinking super coffee for a few years now. It’s a great product however some of the flavors are too sweet/chemical tasting for my liking. I was pleasantly surprised that the peppermint mocha flavor had a subtle and non too sweet taste. I’d have to say that this is my favorite flavor so far next to the vanilla latte. I will be purchasing again.

Update to the below review: It’s been a couple of weeks since the new formula came out, and I’m changing my rating from two stars to one star. The old formula was a million times better. Unfortunately, the new Super Coffee just isn’t good. It tastes watery, and it has hurt my stomach badly, something I never experienced before. While the ingredients may look similar on paper, something clearly changed in the new formula, and the body does not tolerate it at all. Because of this, I’ve completely switched to a different product instead of Super Coffee. Since switching, I’ve felt so much better. Just wanted to update this review so others are aware.
First review: I’m giving this two stars instead of one because I’ve been a big fan of Super Coffee for a long time, but I may need to switch to another brand. The old formula was better. Super Coffee claims they changed the packaging because the drink is now “more nutritious.” But when I looked at the ingredients, the only noticeable difference from the previous version is an increase in sucralose. I’d really like to know how much they increased it by.
The new formula is rough on the stomach, and it doesn’t taste as good as before. Calling it “more nutritious” while mainly increasing the sucralose feels like a strange marketing choice.
I hope they reconsider the formula because the original version was great.
