This deck is totally unique! The illustrations are mindblowing and I’ve never read a tarot guide with so much thought and care put into it. I love the blue edges of the cards too. Can’t wait see what Willow Fay makes next!

Artwork is beautiful; in a strange twist, I feel the same of the minor arcana cards are neater than some of the major arcana cards. This isn’t one of those decks where they went all out on the major arcana and then phoned it in on the minor. It feels a bit uneven to me, but not in a money-grabby way. YMMV. Cards feel a little cheap. The gilded edge serves mostly to highlight how rough the cut was. A linen finish and cleaner cut would have made this deck lovely. I’m not sorry I bought the deck, though. I’m just glad I had a coupon because paying full price would have left me feeling a bit let-down.
The box is very nice and the book is nicely bound with upright and reversed meanings that detail the specific reasons why symbolic art choices were made. Some of the cards I didn’t appreciate initially became clearer once I consulted the included guide.
Most of the art does conform to RWS imagery, even without figures, but some cards hold almost no clues for the uninitiated. You might do better than I did if you’re a naturalist and can pick out species just by eyeballing. For example, the devil card didn’t read devil to me. I would not have been able to tell you what the card was if it wasn’t labeled. However, upon reading the book, I learned that the flower pictured was Belladonna, and then I could see the vine chains, understand the thought process, etc.
This deck feels like it wants to talk to me. I haven’t done a proper reading, but I have interviewed it and riffle and overhand shuffled a bit and received volunteers and it feels like it has a lot to say… possibly too much. I’ve had other decks with a strong aesthetic that don’t read worth a d*mn. This one is practically throwing itself at me despite the quibbles I mentioned.
Overall, if the art style appeals to you, this is a nice deck to have in your collection, but just know that the cards won’t feel quite as luxe as they appear unless it one day merits a reprint with upgrades….

This is my favorite tarot deck! I love all things nature and this one really speaks to me! The images are beautiful and it’s easily read intuitively! The only issue I have is that the book is so small and the pages have already come apart. I’m very particular about caring for my decks but it’s due to the small size and thickness of the book. Such an amazing deck, that I bought a second as a backup! Treat yourself to this gem!

The illustrations of this Tarot deck are so beautiful. I have no idea how to read Tarot cards- but I’ve always wanted to. I got these as my first deck and to my delight there is an amazing book that goes with it that helps you understand!
Highly recommend this thoughtful set of cards and book in such a cute little box.

Maybe not ideal for beginning readers. But it is stunning. It almost has a Thoth tone but the nature theme is both lovely and reads for any type of client because it’s not focused on human depiction. Appropriate for diverse groups. It is a good intuitive read but it’s not quite as obvious as a traditional rider Waite Smith deck

Love this elemental and whimsical deck! The designs incorporate silver embossing and there is a shimmery feel to the atmosphere the deck conjures. It would also make a great 2nd deck choice to be used with any botanical, elemental (earth, fire, water, air) or cold season choice (late summer to late spring). You can almost smell the forest floor and branches in the breeze, the small animals and dew dancing in the morning light, so peaceful, so restorative, so fresh.

The quality of the print on the cards is mediocre, the corners are covered in white speckles. The box design has little thought put into it, the front cover flap does not open all the way out making it difficult to reach inside (it cannot bend further than pictured without damage.) There is no way to lift the book out with your fingers, you need to tip the box over. On top of all of this the cardboard keeping the cards inside is cheap and easily damaged. Quite disappointed, the items look gorgeous but the box design is a let down and the otherwise black back of the cards being covered in white in the corners just signifies a bad print job.

First off, the cards were damaged by the plastic band that hold them together in the box. Second, the booklet binding is of low quality; I opened it up and several pages just fell out! The worst part is that I’m stuck with these because I have no way to return them without UPS Pickup, and they have the AUDACITY to request a $7.99 pickup fee! I paid about $28 for these cards, including tax, so $7.99 is a HUGE chunk of that. This was a very disappointing experience. EDIT: Amazon was nice enough to refund my purchase. Thanks, Amazon. I’ll never buy anything from Red Feather again. The quality just isn’t there.
