The book of Candle Magic by MADAM PAMITA is the best book on Candle magic I love this book it gives you excellent instructions on all things Candle magic I didn’t know. great book well written and very informative for those who are into light or dark magic I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to explore there magical side of Candle Magic.

The author’s work is five star material. Well researched, well laid out, easy to follow, easy to understand. A fabulous resource and reference work for any magic worker’s library.
I have removed one star because the book I received (new book, not second hand) has water damage. It is still readable though, so I will end up keeping it, as returning items to Amazon US from New Zealand is a real hassle, and getting a refund from them is always a nightmare. Amazon AU is great to deal with if there is an issue, but with Amazon US it is like getting teeth pulled without anesthetic.
Anyway, the contents of the book are great, and I highly recommend it.

I am so happy I purchased this book! I love its dark purple hard cover design and lay-out thru-out the pages, in purple and gold, it gives it such a regal look and just feels really good held in your palms. It is just a beautiful book, wonderfully illustrated. It gives plenty of background of the author and advice and knowledge on candle work, types of candles and spell work directions, tips, suggestions, etc. so many gems in this book! Infact she covers gems! Along with talismans, shells how to read your candles, etc. Madame Pamita covered everything! It’s like she put her heart and soul along with some pretty deep wisdom in this book and it would definitely appeal to someone advance or a novice for their library! I am proud to have a copy!

This book is beautiful inside and out with a vibrant cover and fabulous illustrations to accompany the instructions. You will learn about which colors to use, and how to dress/anoint the candle for a specific use. I recently used the knowledge from this book for a protection ritual since there is a 2024 election here in the US that I anticipate will result in protection being greatly needed. If you use candles for manifesting, you need this book

Outstanding compendium! Should be on every magician’s shelf. Be sure to check out the appendixes in the back. So useful!! I’m grateful that Madame Pamita took the time to provide a list of her resources in the form of a bibliography. This too is another useful resource. Excellent index in the back as well. Much attention and care was put into this book. Well done.

What a beautiful book. I’ve practiced candle magic for years, but took a 12 year break. I purchased this after I saw a review from Mat Auryn.
No matter what level your at in your journey I think you will take away a lot from this book. The Author explains in great detail and gives expert instructions. I learned a lot from this book and will be incorporating a lot into my work. Typically as I read I highlight with a marking pen things I want to come back to and even take notes as most books are just paper and text and lots of empty space. Well, not this book! THIS BOOK IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL INSIDE and too beautiful to write in ( I used sticky notes and Tabs). I think this is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever opened. Madame Pamita and Judika Illes have created a magical book cover to cover. The Art , Graphics and Content are perfection. Since reading and making some changes to my normal spells, I’ve noticed some significant changes for the better in my work. This book is a keeper and will be in my forever collection.

I bought this based on a gushingly positive review. It’s all the things they said; visually beautiful – fonts, printing, decorative pages and illustrations, etc. Lots of interesting info, some which contradicts older tomes and history, but in a positive way (i.e. messing up a spell won’t ‘backfire’ and have a negative effect; it just won’t work). My beef is THE FRUSTRATING INDEX, which reads like a requisite after-thought. My suspicion is that the index was computer-generated via editing program, but possibly never edited for continuity by the author or publisher. This resulted in an index full of single words – for instance “direction” references 25-28 different pages, but each page simply contains the word “direction”… not necessarily any meaningful information! Who wants to search that many pages, if all you’re looking for are details on which direction to face, for a certain purpose? The entire book is like this. It’s an expensive book, and I just wish the physical and visual quality also extended to the ability to find the information you’re looking for. Still a beautiful book.

This book was absolutely fantastic and very comprehensive for a book on candle magic. It goes beyond candle magic 101 and can be very invaluable for the intermediate practitioner as well. The definition of an advanced practitioner can vary, and for me that involves ceremonial magic with specific times, dates, planetary, alignments, and so on and so forth. Those that are just getting into candle magic will find this book very useful. Those that want to have more of an understanding of what they are doing, and why and want to take their magic a step further will find this book and invaluable as well. Madame Pamita has a wonderful way of writing that makes things clear. The book’s illustrations help as well. If I were to only recommend one book on candle magic, it would definitely be this book, and I have read a great many books on the subject over the years. I purchased this book as it touches on aspects that I wanted to learn more about, such as divination with the candle. She even includes a small section on floating candles, which is just lovely, as I do use them from time to time in my practice. The author leans toward folk magic and uses many techniques that are taught in hoodoo. For the beginner, she does go over how to use the planets, moon, and colors in magic as well if you’re a beginner and have no knowledge, or if that’s how you’d like to perform your work in your practice. Again, I highly recommend this book.
