Deducted one star only due to the super high price. It’s a fantastic product, great ingredients, dog loves it. Purchased the 3 lb bag for about $60, and it’s about 10 days of food for my 26 pound dog. I love my dog but $180 per month is too much.  I will likely use this only as a topper in the future. Â

I originally read all ingredients and I decided that it would be suitable for my pups. They are allergic to a lot of things. I did not know the effect of Brovine plasma. I finally made a connection of the Brovine Plasma. I believe that the Brovine is responsible for very active itching and uncomfortable results on one of my pups. I will eliminate this product from my dog food options. I originally liked the purchase price. This product is 1/2 the cost of one of my main freeze dried products. My higher priced dog food is 100% compatible to both pups. I have had a really hard time fine tuning the nutrition for my 2 dogs. It has been trial and error for the past 4 years. I have donated multiple bags of different varieties to friends with dogs, also to animal shelters. I was very sad to see the results of the Bovine Plasma in this product. I also researched the Brovine Plasma. It is new and experimental ingredient the dog food industry. I guess if your dog is allergic to beef,it should also be assumed that they would also have an allergy to the plasma. I realize that once you find a product, after a long diligent search and multiple hundreds of dollars, and you find something that works you should stick with it. Your pet’s health and nutritional needs are important! Don’t sacrifice their health. I really wish this food didn’t have the Brovine Plasma in it. Manufacturer should really consider if there is any health to the ingredient. Take it out! Show me what you think the benefit is to include it. In review of all other ingredients, this would be an excellent product. Please let me know when you remove the Brovine. I would likely try the product again. I gave the rating, as in the middle of the scale. Price is good for the amount in packaging, it has a resealable closure. Not every dog has a beef alergy, so the product may be suitable for your dog. I really need a competitive price and nutritional sound food my pets and I can depend on. I currently get a 16 oz bag of raw, freeze-dried quality dog food, but 16 oz bags @ $52.00 a bag does not extend for a long period of time. I need economics to step in. I hope you have a better result if you choose to feed this product to your pups. I truly believe the Brovine Plasma is what makes this product a bad choice, all the way around. Good luckÂ

My senior husky hasn’t been eating much and I’ve been having to coax him to want to eat, mostly by hand feeding chicken or beef or treats. I ordered this in hopes to get more than just meat in him. He took this right away, didnt turn his head away, as he sometimes does. I purchased the lamb and beef flavor. The pieces are small, and yes, it is expensive, but I’m happy to have something he will eat.

My Siberian Husky loves this food. It is flat not square like most kibble it also is somewhat soft, chewy. I have decided that she is better to have a handful on top of her food instead of eating it alone as it is pretty high in fat and can cause some loose stool if she eats too much at a time.

My poodle pup is very picky, he does like the wet pet table food. This was my first time giving him the dried food surprisingly he loved it as well. Chicken and sweet potatoes flavor was tender, the Beef and berries flavor was hard. My poodle pup did not touch the Beef and berries

This is a great product. Gives the dog crunch like a kibble but is not over processed like kibble, and contains no grain. It is air dried and easy to break into smaller pieces if desired. My dog loves it! I mix it with his wet food and he gobbles it up and sometimes i give it to him as a treat dry and he still gobbles it up. I highly recommend this product and company. The food is pure without all those fillers and junk they put in regular dog food. My dog has a sensitive stomach and have had no problem with this There are other flavors too.

I have 5 Chihuahuas and every one of them loves this food ! They are so much more active since they started eating this fantastic food . Maybe one day it will become more affordable . With 5 dogs it doesn’t last very long and the bags are so tiny. . Seriously tho it’s like $20 for 1 lb . It’s heartbreaking to think that they would have to eat garbage because the good stuff is too expensive

Wow! Our border Collie is the pickiest eater around, but boy does she love this! I got her the salmon and whitefish recipe and she couldn’t get enough. At first, she sniffed it, dropped it and starting to walk away. Then I offered it again by hand and that one she ate, and then the next piece, and next piece until she ate probably close to 3/4 of a cup, possibly more. I had fed it to her by hand, so she thought it was a treat.
This bag of food was not hard as many people said. The food was easy for her to chew, not like jerky at all. Very fresh. It did have a sweet smell to it but not bad. I do know that you have to make sure so keep the bag sealed well otherwise it will get hard.
We’ll see how it does for her coat, her scratching and how well she tolerates it. Just wished it was a bit less costly. Luckily, I got this one free with the points I earned from my Amazon Prime card.
One complaint though; why is the chicken so much more expensive???? It’s $10 more for the same size package?? I will not be getting that flavor unless I get it free!! I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the huge price difference for a popular flavor. Thankfully she loves the salmon and whitefish recipe.
Update: I have to coax her to eat it because the smell itself doesn’t entice her apparently. However, once she tastes it, she gobbles it up. Now that I know she likes it, I may get the larger size package since this food is so expensive and she is a 46 pound dog. This little 1 pound package is gone in less than a week with her only eating this for one meal and me feeding her her other food for the other meal.

Our picky chihuahua did not turn her nose up at this and actually seems to like it so I bought some more. The best thing from this food is she is no longer constipated and having bad gas. She is having regular bowel movements when before she was only going like every 4 days and very stressed from it. We always fed her fresh food like boiled chicken and probiotics and cooked carrots. She has never been fed junky kibble or junk foods or non American made foods. So we are grateful to find a good quality food that has helped her greatly and that she actually likes!

I gave this 4 stars due to the product itself but I also wanted to let everyone know I have received the wrong item twice. Amazon has handled things for me on my end but if your dog only eats this flavor you may want to know that I received the chicken and sweet potatoes twice and not the lamb and beef with rice recipe that I ordered. I’ve included photos because it is obvious what happened to cause this-The chicken and sweet potatoes was sent(twice)because they are apparently labeled incorrectly. As you can see the labels state it is lamb and beef with rice but the labels are wrongly placed on the chicken with sweet potatoes. Just wanted to give ya’ll a heads up so you dont end up with an unhappy dog that wont eat like I did. He finally ate his wet food luckily but he isnt happy that his lamb and beef isnt on the menu. This brand is great, my dog usually loves it but he wants no part of the chicken recipe right now. He is a weird dog so that isnt the fault of the company or the food or Amazon. The mixed up labels do need to be fixed ASAP though. Other than that the food itself is great. It is a high quality food. It smells like human beef jerkey. It is a bit pricey but that high price is comparable to other foods of this type. Highly recommend the food but not until the label issue is addressed so I dont get 3 bags of the wrong flavor. On the plus side, Amazon let me keep the items and they’re going to be donated to a local rescue group.

OMG! I have the pickiest eating! two little doggies and I have tried all kinds of dog foods and I mean ALL!! I’m guessing this new process of UNkibble is fairly new, so Ordered yesterday and it just arrived not an hour ago. Opened the package and gave them one kibble and they didn’t even sniff first, they just grabbed and gobbled!! ok making another purchase today! My dogs LOVE this food. BUT: I can and will not purchase from Amazon anymore. I called about the Amazon warehouse shipping in the serving bag. NO box, no padding envelope, nothing to protect the food. It arrives approximately 1/3 – 1/2 of the bag in crumbles. Little tiny crumbs. I called in, was assured it would be addressed. It wasn’t, hence the review. PLEASE NOTE: This review is for the Amazon packaging, not the dog food. My dogs love it. I use it for their afternoon snack time.
