As a Medical Massage Therapist, I do a lot of trigger point treatment. This tool has help my thumbs/hands stay in alignment. You’re still using pressure from your body but the tool is a very big help when working on necks.

I use this product when I want to save my thumbs or if I’m doing some deep tissue or trigger point areas.
This works very nicely. It’s durable. Its a great alternative than directly using your thumbs but it’s plastic and should be used with care.

I liked the grip, but dislike that all of the force went into the wrist, and my patient said that is was not as effective as my actual thumb. It did do as advertised, my thumb did not hurt as much as when I did not use this device, but patient satisfaction was not as high.

Great comfortable tool for massage therapists! I highly recommend this product.. I use it all the time at my job and it gives a tremendous result and gives a break to my thumbs.. The only recommendation I would give when you get this great product in the mail.. is to smooth out the tip of the thumb support with a nail file.. Mine came with a tiny piece of plastic and I used a nail file to gently grind down the edge of the thumb support.. It got very smooth and if you get comfortable enough using it during your deep tissue massage around the rhomboids and posterior scalenes.. It works and feels great for your client also!!!
