So I don’t really have coffee because I can’t have caffeine, but i recently became a fan of Jack so I decided to buy his decaf coffee. As a comparison I had some decaf beans from a local supermarket the day before. So right off the bat the color was different its much nicer darker color, I compared it to my dads Costco coffee and my brothers coffee. The supermarket coffee had a strange aftertaste that I did not like but this one has no strange aftertaste. It’s pretty smooth. I just had it with some cinnamon and Splenda. Probably will drink it without Splenda tomorrow. But yea pretty good.

My family who drinks coffee LOVE this! I originally bought this as a Mother’s Day gift for my Mom, who is a big fan of Chocolate, Coffee, and Irish Cream flavors, so I thought it would be a nice treat, plus, I knew Seán’s channel and I knew the coffee brand supports charity – I had been on the website and ordered myself tea (I’m actually allergic to coffee myself), a mug, and some of the absolutely excellent cocoa (which I also ended up sharing as a Christmas present with one of my brothers). My mother absolutely RAVED over how good the coffee was and stretched it out as her new “treat” coffee, making it last months (she stores her coffee in the freezer, except for a very small 1-3 portion can she has out at a time) and when she finally ran out, I KNEW I was going to have to get her more. Looks like I know what Christmas presents will be! (She’s been eyeing some of my mugs from the company too…) I will say, when she drinks it, she brews it a bit on the weak side – she says it’s a lot stronger than the coffee she usually drinks and she can make it stretch better that way. It certainly smells amazing, even for a non-coffee drinker, like me (and I usually don’t like the smell of coffee all that much).
Yes, the big isn’t huge, but the quality of the coffee is very high, making it a very good value and it’s ethically sourced, another big, big plus in my book. And a portion of sales from the company go back to charity (and who doesn’t want to do good while they buy what they need?) Definitely worth the money. As for the caffeine level, when my Mom shared some with my brother, he definitely said it helped him wake up to teach the class he had that day (I have two brothers, one who lives close and one who is father away. The one who got the hot cocoa was the one who lived further away. The one who tried the coffee was close by.) I personally can’t speak much on wakefulness or caffeine levels, since I personally haven’t tried it.

This coffee is rich and delicious, and has more caffeine than what I normally feel from a dark roast. My only wish is for a whole bean option!! You can tell that the grounds have lost a bit of luster from sitting in the bag. Will likely still order again.

The taste is like the nice normal earthy coffee with a small hint of chocolate. The quality of the coffee grounds is very fine and is perfect if you want a classic cup of coffee. It gives off a Lot of energy even for an avid coffee and tea drinker like myself and the cost is So worth it. Double points for the fact all money is being used for charity to mental health.

I was hesitant to try this for a while. I had always heard great things but always assumed it was hype. Can confidently say that this is one of the best coffees I have ever tried. The price is unbeatable for this quality too. I will be buying this from now on. 10/10 amazing.

I’ll admit all of this happened at the ripe hour of 6am, so I’m not exactly at peak performance when trying out new coffee. 😅 I think I got a faulty bag, the inside zipper was not adhered to one side of the bag so when I opened the bag it split down the side and almost spilled the grounds. I moved the grounds to a container and used my Moka pot to brew the coffee. I didn’t thread it right so when it began brewing it was leaking out the side so I had to re-seal it correctly and let it brew. (My first time making that mistake 😭)
The magic started when I poured the cup. 🥰 I’ve had a few different brands of coffee with my Moka pot and this is the first one to not have a lot of grounds in my cup with the regular metal filter. Typically I have to use a Moka pot paper filter to prevent grounds in my cup but it alters flavor so I always try new coffee without one first.
The flavor is top tier, I bought Twilight and it really hit all the notes it says it does. I added a little bit of pistachio ice cream creamer and it paired well. The color is dark, rich, but lacked the bitterness some darker roasts have. It poured smooth and drank smooth—so in the end even though honestly I did feel the amount of coffee per bag is small for $20, the value of the product is worth it.

Didn’t get to try it, it got ripped up by a dog, but when I was cleaning it up it smelled awesome, only time I’ve ever smelled coffee grounds so good smelling that I was still happy just cause of how great the aroma was

I bought the “High Noon” variety, and it’s good! Smooth and tasty, a good but simple cup of coffee. I think I’d like to try some of the more darker roasts, as this medium was a little light for me. But very good! Thanks Jack!
