This tea along with manuka honey are a life saver when you’re sick. The directions on the box make the tea taste awful and bitter. I’ve found steeping for 2-3 minutes with 2-3 bags at 190f for 12-16oz is perfect and adding a tablespoon on manuka honey makes a great tasting tea that soothes the most painful throats. The medical benefits are incredible for relieving pain instantly.

Works better than any other product I’ve tried when I need a product like this. I drink it at night, before bed, and normally I’m ready to go by the next morning. I do not usually experience any type of cramping. I have used it during the day before… I had an urgent situation where I’d been on morphine after an unexpected trip to the ER, and I was in extreme discomfort the next day. I tried several products with no relief, but this worked like a charm. There was a slight cramping feeling, but it was NOTHING compared to what some other products have caused in the past. It’s not at all painful. This is not meant to be used on a daily basis as you can become reliant on it.
I just use hot tap water.. I do not boil the water. If you are making it that way and having problems with cramping or not being able to make it through the night, you might want to try making it with hot tap water instead… I think that makes it a little less potent. I let it sit for about 5 – 10 minutes before drinking. I’ve used both the regular and the chocolate flavor and I like both. Tastes way better than any other product you might try to get some relief. I would never use anything different.

I use this Echinacea tea when I am coming down with a cold or sore throat. If I start this when my throat is feeling a little scratchy or my nose is stopping up, most of the time it will either stop it before it gets bad or the cold or sore throat will be minimal.

I find that one tea bag generally has the strength to make 2 cups of tea. Smooth flavor with a pleasant aroma. I like to add honey for added health benefits and to help soothe a sore throat. This brand I find to be good quality.

I love this tea and it works wonderfully for my constant dry mouth and throat due to my medication. It has a touch of sweetness without the sugar and is very pleasant. I enjoy drinking it daily first thing in the morning to help me clear any gunk in my throat. My only wish is that they sold it in a bulk bag versus a bunch of little teabags so that I could just throw it in my tea pot and strain myself. The price is always fair and every once in a while, it’s on sale. For those who don’t mind all of the extra paper and the extra steps of tearing open multiple packets of tea to have a strong enough and big enough cup of tea I’d say this would be fairly easy to use, I would just rather use a scooper in a bulk bag. Really helps when you have a sore throat.

My son swears by this tea during cold and flu season. He tends to deal with sore throats and those lingering, annoying coughs every winter, and this is the only thing that gives him real relief. I steep it for the full 10–15 minutes, add a generous spoonful of honey, and he absolutely loves it.
It can be hard to find in stores, so I’m glad it’s easy to order on Amazon. For us, this has become a must-have every cold season.
