Lovely and comfortable. Is a bit bigger than expected so hangs over the sides of the bed, but it may shrink a bit when washed? So that might be a good thing. My back feels much better in the mornings now and I am sleeping better. My husband loves it too as it is so comfortable

I sleep on the floor by choice, and was originally sleeping on a makeshift bed made of chair cushions, but that was not very comfortable. So I ordered this for additional padding and have had it about a month now and can say that so far it has held up well, and has definitely improved the softness of my sleeping arrangements. By itself it would not be sufficient for sleeping on the floor, but with the sleeping mat I recently also ordered, it has made for a very comfortable bed. I think it would be a great asset to a mattress.

Got this (the twin 700 GSM version- for 24.99 at time of order) for my 12 year old son’s mattress as it’s getting a little worn down, and since it’s in an ikea loft bed it just sits on slats on the ground-so I want to make him more cozy but since I’m beyond broke….I can’t afford much.
I feel like it’s essentially just a semi fluffy blanket sewn into a quilt like pattern w/some elastic straps added. Nothing special, so to me the price point should be lower. It doesn’t seem like a long lasting, big improvement to a mattress the way they style it in the description. It doesn’t have enough substance for THAT lol. It DOES, however, add a slight puffy barrier between you & the mattress so if that’s all you need to make your bed perfectly cozy then this’ll be great! If you need more than that and can afford it- I’d recommend getting a thicker, maybe gel type topper instead (or both for the best results!) though.
Pics: I pulled the mattress out to show you what it looks like on bed without anything extra. FWIW: my 12 yr old did put it on himself at first and said “it was really easy to do” (coming from a boy that acts like putting on a fitted sheet is a big chore….that says something lol!)
TLDR; just ok, adds a little cushion but doesn’t really fix a troublesome mattress. Best for an already decent bed.

Made my old mattress very comfortable. Fit well, but doesn’t stay in place the best. I didn’t notice any smells or off gassing. Looks decent and the padded texture is nice. My child jumps on the bed a lot, and I haven’t noticed any damage. Would be a perfect rating if the straps for retention would stay in place a bit better. Very nice addition for the price though.

I believe that the reasons this product got bad reviews is because of the sleepers preference. IF YOU prefer a soft bed this is not for you. If you prefer a FIRM BED this IS FOR you. I personally like an extremly firm bed.
I was distracted by the lack of thickness and said to myself, ” I will take it back in the morning” however after sleeping through the night, I LOVE IT!!!!

It is not what i thought i was buying . If you want minimum cushion for like a childs top bunk bed or camper bed it would be good. It was not as thick, or as fluffy as it looked in the picture. Or as I wanted . The xl singke just fit the on the top of the single mattress. My son say he likes it on his bed . It did however have nice wide straps to put over the mattress so it doesn’t slide around. Is made out of good material that is super soft and had no smell out of the package . It is good quality made and a nice product just not as pillowy and fluffy as I would have liked . Good priced for what you get .

I purchased this specifically because it was described as 60% cotton 40% polyester. When I opened it, I checked the tag and it is 100% polyester cover and fill. However, quality is good and its very soft and comfortable, adding a thick layer to the mattress. Will probably repurpose it with my own cotton cover as it’s too much of a pain to return (can’t put it back in the bag as it comes vacuum sealed).

I gave this pillow topper a 4 star, but if we were allowed half stars, I’d give it a 4.5 star … so far. I’ve only used it for less than a week, so I have no direct knowledge of durability. But it is soft, even rebounding when I press my hand into it; it appears well made; stitches are all good. It was very clean looking out of the package. (It comes vacuum packed and greatly compressed; I let it hang for about 10 hours to fluff and air out; there was a slight but noticeable odor at first; more on that at the end of this review.)
But for comfort, so far, it’s a big improvement over a 2″ memory foam pad alone. (I’m now using both, with the topper over the memory foam.) And the price was right. I dug into savings when I saw it up for a lightning deal that gave me this Twin XL for slightly more than $30.
For context: I’m 74 and have moderate hip osteoarthritis and necrosis. I am a potential candidate for hip replacement surgery, although both orthopedists I have seen advise putting it off. I exercise regularly now (glute bridges, squats and deadlifts have strengthened my hip and stabilized it, so I have less pain walking — but lying on my side (I’m a side sleeper only) can be uncomfortable). This pillow topper helps with that.
I don’t think it’s as thick as advertised. That’s based on just feeling it and seeing it (though I’ve done no formal measurement). It may be as thick as advertised in some parts of it, but certainly not all. HOWEVER, for me (145 lbs, 5’9″), it’s enough. I feel the softness of it.
I deducted half a star because of the initial smell. It wasn’t terrible, just noticeable, but very faint. It reminded me a bit of the smell of a salt marsh on the shore of an ocean at low tide. More biological instead of chemical. It’s under my fitted sheet, and I never smelled it while lying on it (only if I stuck my nose into it), and it may have aired out now.
In any case, that’s minor.
