Good quality cayenne pepper. This is my second purchase, or maybe my third. I use it outside to deter cats from doing their business in my yard. It works!

This cayenne pepper is nice and potent. The squirrels hate it, but it doesn’t hurt them. Over the winter, they claim the deck, trying hard to get to the bird feeders. Once spring comes and I put fresh dirt in the window boxes and flower pots and get some plants into them, the squirrels think there must be something in there for them and dig up my flowers overnight. I got tired of finding my flowers dumped out onto the deck and discovered the wonders of cayenne pepper. Once they figure out that there’s something they don’t like in with the flowers, they’ll leave the deck alone until next winter.
This particular brand is great quality. The bottle did come a bit smashed up this time, but that’s Amazon’s fault, not the seller’s. It isn’t leaking, so I didn’t return it. The top is double-sided with a shaker side and a side to use with measuring spoons. I’ve bought this brand several times now and wanted to give them a shout out. They’ve helped my window boxes and pots get a chance to fully bloom for a beautiful and relaxing space on our deck. Bye bye squirrels!

A solid bite with this one and that’s from just a sample off the foil on top with a finger. Some serious linger time with this as well. I mix cayanne in with my Cajun spice (Tony C’s) because it’s too salty. The potency here is superior and didn’t require as much as usual.

I use this for cooking and it is REALLY strong. That’s good. Cayenne has a stronger Scoville heat rating than most other peppers so yes, it should be strong.
I also spread this outside where the cats like to poop in my yard. It works to deter them, especially when mixed with Citronella oil.
