I’m not sure why grocery stores stopped selling this specific seasoning but I’m glad I was able to find it on Amazon. When the package was delivered in a brown thick envelope, I was concerned that the items would be broken in some way. To my surprise, they were packaged in bubble wrap & both bottles were in tact. These two bottles will last a long time!

I’ve been using Montreal Steak Seasoning for years – mostly on burgers. I stopped using it for a while and just recently started using it again on burgers but also on chicken and pork. It’s basically just a blend of salt, garlic, black and red pepper, sunflower oil, and onion. It’s not spicy at all and really brings out the flavor in a lot of meats. I still prefer it on burgers, and it’s definitely a lot better than just using salt and pepper, and much faster when cooking a lot of burgers at once on a grill.
The price seems to go up and down a lot so make sure you aren’t overpaying when you order online, but as for the product, it’s great. Ironically, I’ve never used it on steak. I will try that next and see how it goes.
