This worked very well for what I got it for, which was pressing pulp from apples that I had put through a cold juicer. The mesh bags that came with it were pretty useless; the holes in them were way too big and pulp would squeeze through. I ended up sewing my own from some double gauze and they worked great. Since this press cannot be secured to a surface, using it is a two-person job for sure: one person to hold the press still, and the other to turn the handle. Not perfect, but it did the job, and made my life easier.

If you are not ready to make a larger financial investment in pressing juice but wanna try something better than my first attempt of blending and pressing through a strainer then this is a step up. It made juice collection easier. If I keep pressing though I will probably have to upgrade. This is a true case of you get what you pay for its smaller than I thought, the bowl if fairly thin material and I felt some grinding in the threads when tightening it all the way, I fear the threads are soft material and will wear out quickly. I do not regret the decision to buy this I will get a couple more seasons out of it which will be enough for me to decide if I want to spend more on a more professional setup.

So much easier, less time than a potato masher to juice. Literally go from hours of juicing to minutes.

Product was very cheaply made. Pressing grapes over the course of a few hours warped and broke the apparatus. The screws holding the press plate to the augur grinded metal shavings that could contaminate the mash. The press was highly inefficient at juicing grapes. The strain of the press is more likely to damage the structure of the apparatus than to squeeze juice from fruit. DO NOT BUY.

Well-built press with stainless barrels that handle fruit and grapes easily. The triangular handle gives good leverage. Cleaning is straightforward. Works best for small batches, not large harvests.
Pros: Solid stainless construction, good for home use, easy to clean.
Cons: Small capacity, requires effort for tougher fruit

I’m really impressed by how sturdy this fruit press is. It is heavy, well made and feels like it will do a great job pressing properly prepared fruits. The instruction booklet leaves a bit to the imagination. I wish it had a bit more substance. I wasn’t sure if there would be any jelly bags or cheesecloth type bags with it so I did buy some separately. I found that there are two bags included. The holes in the bags a rather large IMO, picture for detail, 1 -2 millimeters wide. That seems like that would let quite a bit of pulp through. I will have to experiment. And that might be ok for some recipes. Overall, I think it will be a great tool for my kitchen.

This press is excellent. The quality is spectacular. Everything fits within itself. It is easy-to-use IF you know what your doing. Why do I say that? Because the instructions are this, “put friut in. Turn handle. Make juice. Don’t put hands in when turning press.” Now, if you can’t figure out how to operate it after hearing that, this won’t be right for you. But if you can figure out the fruit goes in the bag and you get wine, you’ll be fine. They may want to include a few additional steps I’ve identified here: Tie off bag. Level out the bag. Begin twisting handle until juice stops flowing.

I may write another review. 3 stars for now which will either get better or worse. BUT used first time today. Prewashed before use. The instructions were hilarious and completely not useful. But it’s not hard to figure out. So- it had a lot of metal shavings some of which got into the nut milk. The shavings went up and down the pressure screw and littered the top of the plate. We’re cleaning it again and will see. If it continues, we’ll have to send it back and come up with another way to press.

Using this for making nut milk – works great!
With arthritic hands, it’s hard to press out the pulp to get all the milk manually.

Definitely want to oil it with a food grade oil like olive oil oil or something like that
    To keep it running smooth
    Looks like very high-quality
And worked really good. I did a turmeric extract, and it pressed down to the point where I didn’t wanna tighten it anymore.

So much easier than a garlic press lol. For real. I bought this press for making cannabis/herb oil. This press works great ,cut this step to a fraction of the time 💚
FYI 0.8 is good for at least 1oz and up probably 4oz to 5oz.

I used it to squeeze apple juice. I first ran the apples through a juicer, then I was able to use the press to squeeze a significant amount of extra juice from the leftover pulp. Instructions are incomplete and confusing, but fortunately it’s not that hard to figure out.

This is far more efficient than a juicer, for pomegranates. The design is really good, but the construction is not conducive for more than one seasons use. The plate is not reinforced, so the auger eventually chews through the press plate creatming metal shavings. The shavings are not on the fruit side of the plate, so they never made it into the product. I would not purchase this product again.

The problem is they use El Cheapo Chinesium steel, and it’s WAYYYYYY too soft…. The screw threads gall super easy and in less than 10 pressing sessions, I need to bang the pressing disc flat again…. There was also a LOT of burrs and slag that needed to be removed, because if you don’t, that just makes the galling worse…. Pro tip! lube all metal on metal parts with tallow…
