VitaCup Green Tea, compared to regular brands of K-Cup Green Tea(i.e. Celestial Green Tea), is a very unique brand of tea in the sense that it is both eco-friendly and refreshing to drink. Not only is the tea made with a blend of matcha and sencha, the cup itself is recyclable and (to some extent), biodegradable.
Out of the machine, the liquid is a golden honey colored. The tea itself has a little bit of a matcha taste to it. However, for the most part, it tastes like a milder version of Chinese loose leaf, Dragonwell tea.
What I especially like about this tea is the aftertaste, which makes this brand of tea an especially good one on a hot summer day. This tea goes especially great with peanuts, apples, and/or spiced cookies.
Given that I have grown up drinking more loose leaf teas as opposed to k-cup teas, I still prefer the strong, bitter taste of loose leaf, Chinese green tea and Japanese matcha green tea combined in order to get the most out of the caffeine content of the teas. Plus, compared to other teas, matcha tea is one that has to be whisked nice and frothy in order for the drinker to enjoy the most out of the flavor.
Overall, despite the fact that I am biased, I am very pleased with this product. Nice job, VitaCup!

To be honest I was expecting more of a matcha flavor but it tastes mostly like strong green tea. It’s still pretty good and relaxing. I would probably opt for something else when I want a caffeine boost because this one feels very light, but I still enjoy the convenience of these pods.

First time I’m drinking green tea. Not a big fan but drink it as medicine to lose weight. I prefer having it between breakfast, not on empty stomach. Otherwise, you will end up nauseated & head heating up. Preferably during winters. When my stock gets over & I see any changes in my weight loss , I will update my post.

I hate that this works so well because it smells like dirt. Like actual dirt. It tastes like a version of dirt, camomile and matcha. I have to tell myself it’s matcha to get it down even though I know there’s no matcha in it. But I guess dirt helps me sleep extremely well and wake up feeling very rested.

I was pretty skeptical about this stress buster tea making a dent reducing my stress. i’ve always been the anxious, worried about everything type of person who’s always tense, i find it hard to relax especially after taking a new job in healthcare during this pandemic that’s thrown my whole schedule off. i’ve literally taken medications in my lifetime for anxiety/stress so i do feel i’m someone who can speak about this having tried both the pharma & then natural measures. WELP, this tea has been everything for me! i really wasn’t expecting it to chill me out – but it ABSOLUTELY DOES! not to the point i feel like i’m gonna fall asleep… just a really nice chill feeling, where everything worrying me just seems more manageable & less heavy! i’m making another order, i’m so beyond pleased! i’ve been venturing out to try natural measures to tackle things & having worked in medical field since i was legally able to work, i always just thought medicines were the only thing that worked… boy, was i missing out on some really great medicines from nature! & it also feels amazing that i’m *not* having to take a medication, that it’s all natural. i’m really happy to have found this, this tea has become a staple in my nighttime routine. about an hour before bed, i make myself a cup and then i’m ready to just relax and go to bed shortly after! i don’t like to go to bed stressed/anxious, which is why i primarily wanted this for before bed… BUT, i have had this tea 1 or 2 days during the day on my days off, when i felt the stress getting to me. it’s become a part of my self care routine – it smells like beautiful flowers and tastes like the most amazing flowers you could ever imagine too! the smell, the warmth (especially during the cold winters here), everything about it just adds to the effects. it truly does help my stress and i’m a fan forever! i even want to venture out to the other ones, like beauty… since i know the stress buster is such a gem. feels great to find such an amazing product! for anyone who caffeine makes them anxious like me, & is anxious in general like me, definitely try these caffeine free stress busters!

So the smell takes some getting used to, it smells like crawfish, no joke, but once you drink it, the taste does not fit the smell. It is drinkable and the effects are a little rare… you will get sleepy, once you do, GO TO SLEEP. If you fight your sleep and continue to do whatever you are doing, you will suddenly get a burst of energy and stay awake for hours. I have tried it both ways, if I do go to sleep as soon as I feel drowsy, I end up being VERY PRODUCTIVE the next day. This is an amazing tea, I love it. The only issue I’ve had is that it is not available for fast delivery at times so I can’t make it a routine, as much as I want to.

I personally was not a huge fan of the product. It tasted bitter, but for next time I would recommend to mix in with a sugar free sweetener and/or a non-dairy milk. Everyone is different but just to help removed the bitter taste..
