Last Friday I chipped the dried grape leaves for mulch in my backyard, and next morning I woke up with my face looking as if I had a big-time sunburn, but it seemed to be an allergy, itching in my face and flaking tiny wads of dead skin which I couldn’t wash off. No cream helped until I ordered the Vitamin C Face scrub. It arrived the next morning, and I applied the scrub as instructed, and the first load skin flakes came off – I applied Witch Hazel and, after drying, blobs of lard (yes, LARD – the closest to the human skin composition). The itch stopped, and after washing my face there were only a few patches of skin flakes visible. I don’t believe in overnight-miracles and I did the entire procedure daily once more – and my skin is clear and refreshed after only 3 treatments. Yay!

I like this! I’m in my early 40s and was looking for an affordable face scrub to use in the shower. I selected this one and I’ve ordered it twice now. I’m not sure it has any life changing properties, but I’ve been very happy with it. It has not irritated my skin (which can be sensitive) at all and has the right amount of exfoliation for daily use, not too much, not too little. Smell is very subtle, but is nice.
