I must acknowledge that scent is subjective. But I am unsure why this scent is called a ‘Fall’ scent. Yes, it is a sort of pumpkin color, but the scent is citrus, quite sweet, much like orange sherbet. I can discern no woodsy or Fall scent. It burns well. I simply don’t care for my home to smell like dessert if I am not cooking. I had hoped these Apothecary jars would begin to contain a more sophisticated herbal/wood blend scent. The scent name was misleading but perhaps it is a poorly executed start. I will remain optimistic.

Der Duft ist einzigartig. Habe 3 Stück bestellt, war auch sehr gut verpackt, aber leider war bei 1 Kerze das Glas zerbrochen. Da die Ware nicht aus Deutschland geliefert wurde habe ich von einer Rücksendung abgesehen ! Konnte mir aber helfen indem ich das Glas komplett entfernt und dann alles fest in Alufolie gewickelt habe. Dann in einen passenden Blumentopf gestellt. Funktionierte gut. Im übrigen endstand der Bruch wohl nicht beim Transport von amazon zu mir sondern wohl schon
vorher bei Yankee, denn es war Original verpackt.
Werde aber nichts zerbrechliches mehr über das Ausland bestellen.

Meine erste Yankee Candle Kerze aus amerikanischer Produktion und entsprechend längerer Lieferzeit wegen des Transportweges. Diese Kerze im Housewarmerglas kam im Originaltransport-Karton mitsamt dem sagenhaft stabilen Innenkarton, mit anderen Worten, kein “Scherbengericht”, sondern ein völliges intaktes Glas.
Der Deckel war satt drauf, also auch keine Duftwolke aus dem Karton.
Aber dann, Deckel gelupft, Nase reingesteckt und – boah!
So also riechen Herbstblätter!? Nein, Herbstblätter riechen anders, jedenfalls die, die ich schon in natura beschnuppert habe. Das gewisse Etwas, etwas Moder, ist glücklicherweise keine Komponente bei Autumn Leaves. Bei Autumn Leaves rieche ich einen ganz und gar zarten und lieblichen Tannenduft heraus. Ich sitze in 1,5 m Entfernung zur Kerze und freue mich riesig über diese Kerze, die diesen sanften Geruch verströmt, kein bißchen flackert, vollkommen ebenmäßig das Wachs verflüssigt und mir noch ein paar Tage erhalten bleibt.
Bin langjähriger “Fan” von Yankee Kerzen und habe schon x-verschiedene Düfte durchprobiert, teils mehrfach nachgekauft, aber bei den meisten Düften musste die Kerze aus dem Badezimmer heraus bei halb geöffneter Türe ihren Duft verströmen.
Dem Anspruch nach großflächiger Beduftung wurden die europäischen Yankee Candles mehrheitlich gerecht,
bei Autumn Leaves ist der Radius der Beduftung zweifellos kleiner. Dagegen hat man eine Kerze deren Schein man in nächster Nähe genießen kann.
Jetzt, wo die Tage so unbarmherzig dunkler werden erfreut sich die Seele einfach am Kerzenschein.

Wonderful, warm autumnal scent! It’s spicy and a tad citrusy yet not so spicy as to be nauseating. I have only been burning it for 90 minutes, and it’s filled my living room with aroma. It came well-packaged in a cardboard holder inside a box.
Burns clean after trimming the wick down to 1/4 inch. It’s in my entryway and away from any drafts. The wax is nearly melted all around. An initial burn of 4 hours ought to ensure no tunneling, but we’ll see. I’m using a candle topper to help that. Excellent value.
Update: After 4 hours of burn time, the top half inch of wax liquefied perfectly all around. I can smell the aroma all around my living room. Very pleased.

Even with a trimmed wick, the candle creates quite a lot of smoke; if windows aren’t open, the atmosphere becomes diffused.
Be sure to burn the candle for several hours at a time, long enough to melt the entire top. Otherwise the wick will sink down and the surrounding wax walls will not melt.

Awesome candle that has a great scent that last through the entire candle. It has a nice long burn time if you trim the wick after each use keeping it short. The candle does not have a waxy smell when in use like some candles do. They are a bit pricy compared to other cheaper candles but or well worth it.

I’ve boughtYankee candles for many years and love this scent, but something has changed. I think it’s the use of soy oil in the wax.
This one doesn’t burn as long, and seems to have less scent. Trimming the wick is messy, when the wick is covered in black goo that does not clean easily. Disappointed.

I haven’t used many candles. I got this one because I thought it would be nice scent. Reading other reviews, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to smell it. But I can smell it half a house away! And it’s not overpowering. It really is a nice scent. I absolutely love it. I don’t notice smoke from it. It says it will last 3 times longer than my last candle, which is amazing. I’d be happy with 100 hours. It’s big, but it doesn’t take up much desk space.
