BEST PURCHASE. My husband surprised me with this. It is the BEST thing that’s ever been brought in my bed. Even my kids stay fast asleep throughout the whole night. It’s the perfect weight. It doesn’t make it too hot. The size is perfect for me and the kids. I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying I actually weigh about 20 pounds more than this blanket is recommended, but my weight is more fluffy (wouldn’t say I have muscles at my current 230 pound weight, but that is part of my underway resolution!) I have been using this for 3 weeks, every night. It does take me a good bit of EFFORT to move this blanket around on my twin sized bed. I have included a photo so you can see how little this “queen sized” blanket hangs over the edge of my twin sized bed, for reference. I like that the final surrounding row (pouches in the quilt, if you will) are empty/nearly empty to reduce weight right there (sides, bottom and top, where potentially could be too much weight on neck OR along sides/bottom try to pull the blanket off the bed). In the middle of the night if I wake to go to the bathroom, I do feel like I am getting a mini workout just to leave and re-enter the bed, because of the weight of the blanket.
Work stress and life stress with caring for my mom, I’m just not sleeping well and finally decided to get a weighted blanket. I always joked I needed a blanket with chain mail inside, but the expected noise put me off. This says there are glass beads inside (can’t tell, but maybe) and there has been no shifting noise at all in the three weeks I have been sleeping with this blanket – SILENT BLANKET.
I expected this to feel “snuggly” based on other reviews and other products, but instead I liken it more to the comfort that is given to a pet when you put them in a loud sound (lightening), calming type jacket/wrap. The first night sleeping with this weighted blanket was weird, I may not have moved the entire night (I toss and turn: all over the bed, laying on either side, back and even stomach at times). Using this weighted blanket, I don’t get the fake-human comfort another actual person would provide, but then I also don’t have to fight them for the covers, space, etc. in the bed. If I were in a larger bed than my twin bed, sharing my bed with another person, each of us would need our own blanket, in my opinion. While in a situation where two people are sharing a normal blanket, the normal blanket lofts over the space between the two people – instead the WEIGHT of THIS blanket is going to bring the blanket down, leaving less usable coverage space between the two people unless they remain co-joined the entire time sleeping, which is very unlikely.
They say you can wash this blanket, but I will NEVER do so because of the weight. This will only ever get spot cleaned, not that I have yet gotten anything on m blanket; my blanket remains clean. This blanket weighs 20 pounds, is filled with tiny itty bitty glass beads according to description and feel, and should that break apart in my washing machine, it would be like bringing 20 pounds of sand from the beach and putting it in my washing machine – never going to happen. Washing machines cost too much and a blanket is relatively cheap to replace comparatively.
I went with the 20 pound grey color because weirdly different blankets have very different purchase costs both when I bought it 3 weeks ago and still now, gray (on sale right now for $34.99, regularly $45.99) was a lot less than the navy and blue color that would go better with my comforter, but they are asking $58.99, regularly $69.99 for Navy and Blue color, with the top price being $79.99 regularly (rose color isn’t on sale, yellow on sale asking $75.99). As you select colors, keep an eye on the SIZE and WEIGHT as there are LOTS of different options so you are comparing similar. It is sort of weird that there are such price differences between fabric colors, most of which are same color on both sides (but not all). Now that I know I really like my blanket, I do wish I had paid more to get colors better suited for my basic bedroom decor, but I told myself ‘gray goes with everything’ so I know I will just live with this color because it was cheaper.
All in all, I am happy. I am definitely spending more time SLEEPING when I’m sleeping, and that was the whole reason I bought this weighted blanket. There have even been a couple of nights where I slept the entire night, not even getting up to go to the bathroom, which I didn’t think I was physically capable of doing since it had been so many years getting up at least a couple times each night. I may have the added benefit of building a little more muscle strength using this weighted blanket, but muscles are needed for healthy living, so also a plus. If you are reading this far into my review, then just get it. I’m very satisfied, so I am giving this 5 of 5 stars.

This blanket is great! Now I got mine a little too heavy to begin with so I’m exchanging it for one with less weight but I love this. It’s warm, cozy, and is soft. It feels like someone is holding you and helps you sleep so comfortably. While it is warm it is not too thick but thick enough it really feels like it would hold up great. I picked the gray and I love the color but I put a cover over it anyways so the color did not bother me one way or the other but it is a very pretty gray. I think this is a great blanket and perfect size for it on a bed.

20 lbs is heavy but totally worth it. I don’t use it often except when I really need that deep sleep after too many nights of restlessness. Sometimes I get too warm under it so I try to remember a thin sheet and light clothing. Everyone in the house loves it even the cats (that sleep on top of course).

This blanket is really nice. I find that it helps me get a good nights sleep. I don’t feel that it’s overly heavy or too light. At night when I’m pulling it up, you can feel its weight but that’s in comparison to the other blankets on the bed.
We have a King-sized bed. The blanket goes over each side about three inches and about 5 inches on the end. Although I would like it a bit longer, I’m glad it isn’t because then it would be hard to pull it over to get out of bed.
If you’re looking for a weighted blanket, this is a good one. We also washed it once and left it outside to dry. It still looks brand new and all the glass beads are still where they should be. It’s a well-made blanket.

I love this. The color is so pretty, it’s a lot softer than I expected, and it is is big enough to drape over the sides of our king bed comfortably under our normal comforter. My wife tosses and turns in her sleep and the blanket stays in its place all night. The weight doesn’t make a huge difference but is enough to relax my body and help me get more comfortable at night. It does get warm but it’s expected any time you add an extra blanket.

I LOVE THIS BLANKET. I bought it for my son who has proprioception/ hyperarousal needs. He wasn’t into using it for the night but likes to wrapped in it at calm-down time for a bit. He also likes to fold it up and toss it around as a heavy object.
But it lives on my bed and I use it every night throughout the whole night. I now sleep without any issues 6-8hrs easily.

The Fabric is soft and cozy without being too thick. The weight is so soothing. 20lbs total but the distribution is perfect. The length and width are great as well, I’m 5’6 and I like to sleep like a starfish, this keeps my whole body covered. Also keeps me warm without making me too hot.
I’m so glad I bought it.

i’ve had a hard time finding THE perfect weighted blanket. the last one i owned was too small and felt like it didn’t really weigh a whole lot. i am such a big lover of having weight on me, especially my feet. this blanket achieved my desperate need for weight on me while i slept. it’s big, comfy, looks amazing on my bed, it’s breathable while still giving you that weight. i might have to buy another one to keep in my living room. or my car. or anywhere i am. it’s THAT good. who knows, maybe i might find an even better weighted blanket than this one, but right now this is my go to blanket.

I read through a lot of comments about people having a hard time lifting the 20lb blanket. Its evenly distributed. Its not like trying to lift a 20lb log or a child. Its distributed in nice little pockets all over the blanket. SO it wont all eventually go to one end. Its the perfect blanket.

This was my husband’s favorite Christmas gift. The color was exactly as expected, and it fit our king-size bed with a little overlap. We would have preferred one that was a bit heavier, but the product itself was as described. It has loops on the corners to attach a duvet cover, which is smart for making it last longer and avoiding the need to wash it, though it might be too heavy for some machines. The fabric is soft but a little thin.

I bought this back in 2024 apparently for me and my Husband. We were tired of fighting over the shared comforter we had and had trouble sleeping a good while. We absolutely loved it the first few months/ a year in. Very soft, heavy without it being super heavy and if I remember correctly, we were confused on the sizing but the one we chose seems best for both of us (he is around 5’10” and Im around 5’8″ or something. He weighs a lil over 200lbs and Im closer to 300lbs for measurements). He still uses his religiously but we have run into a problem with his: when I wash his, apparently one of the pockets broke somewhere and now the lil beads are all in my dryer and washing machine. So do keep in mind that after a minute, the durability of it being washed and dried will dimish sadly. I dont use mine as often as Im starting to sweat too much in my sleep. So on that note, if you are a hot person as you sleep, this is NOT for you. For me and him, this is for winter months mostly as its good for trapping in heat. The summer time….wouldnt recommend if you want this to cool you off; would use in the summer if Im trying to freeze him with the A/C lol

The design is great. The color is rich and beautiful. But the weight of 20lbs is really heavy. The buyer should think of the age and strength of the person(s) using it. A elderly person would struggle with the weight. Think it be a better product if it were 10-15lbs.

If you’re considering this blanket, keep in mind that it’s quite heavy (20 lbs), but that’s exactly what makes it so comfortable. The glass beads in it do move around a bit, there’s nothing they are suspended in so it makes some noise when moving around and the beads noticeably pile up in the corners of their chambers. Not a huge deal but I’ve had blankets that do not do that.

We have a California King & bought one that fit perfectly the only issue is if I didn’t get to bed first my husband would stick it between his legs & roll over. Impossible to battle him & the blanket for coverage. We bought two of these and it’s heaven. Works perfectly with a little overlap. I look forward to snuggling into bed under the weighted blanket.
