I was so excited to get this product. I have had fresh coconut water before and believe me this is not it. It was so salty and the taste was so off putting – not even close to coconut. The expiration date is March 2026. Now I’ve got 11 bottles of this stuff. I’ll try to find someone who knows what this is supposed to taste like to check it out. If this is the taste they are getting 11 bottles for free!

Excellent refreshing coconut with no sugar added. Troubled by the juice color and somewhat cloudy. Best out of the fridge and on ice. Keep refrigerated or it seems to ferment if allowed to warm to room temperature. Limited non fridge life once opened.

I was aware that this is a sugar free product. I was unaware it would smell and taste like sour milk. It taste like spoiled milk. It also has a very low to no COCONUT flavor. I will add sugar to the next one to see if I can tame the strong sent and taste. If you have a weak stomach you may want to order the product that has sugar in it

I first tried Zico drinks when I came across the Chocolate Cocoanut water they sell. That is addictive. I always like to have some of it around although you do have to check the expiration date on the neck of the bottle. I was going to stock up on it when I realized I would not be able to do that because I didn’t have enough shelf time. Anyway, I decided to try the plain cocoanut drink. I found it to be just as good. It not only quenches my thirst, but when you live in area where triple digit heat throughout the summer ic common it also helps with providing a good source of potassium ( 510 mg) and some salt(50 mg). I have come into the house after working outside and felt very exhausted and a bit weak from the heat, so I drink this and almost immediately feel better, so I keep the Zico drinks on hand. I toss one or two in my freezer too. Frozen the chocolate tastes like a fudgesicle. The plain is a creamy cocoanut flavor yet it’s a clear drink. It was so creamy tasting to me I had to look to see if in fact it was white or clear. It’s clear. There is no doubt this company has a good product. I wish it were a little less expensive, but it is priced in that range these drinks are in. I search for the best tasting drinks and make purposeful choices for different reasons. I can tell you that both the chocolate and plain cocoanut water by this company is one of the best I have had so far. Give it a try.

If you enjoy coconut water, be wary of this. I have bought this brand in the store and imagined it would be just as good. I really imagined it would be exactly the same, same company, same size bottle, same marketing, what could be different? .
THE TASTE. That would be the correct answer, it tastes spoiled and off. I had 2 other people who enjoy coconut water sample it and they both agreed (and my next door neighbor LIVES to disagree with people).
At first I thought maybe all my taste buds had died overnight and I was having a strange phenomena. I cried for a few hours about how I would never enjoy anything with taste again, especially coconut water, my favorite drink.
HOWEVER, as the day went on and I sailed my river of tears through my town, I decided to swim over to the local pharmacy and do the unthinkable. YES, that is when I bought a bottle of ZICO coconut water, in a 16.9fl oz bottle.
I was SHOCKED that it tasted so delicious, that I finished it before I got to my car, spun around and returned to buy 2 more.
Now I am not a Dr., and it was extremely hard for me to finish college (but I did), but it seems that there must be an inconsistency with the product. It may have just been mine, it may have been that “batch”, it is hard to say. What is easy to say is that it did not taste like how it was supposed to and I am better off buying it at my local pharmacy which is NOT IDEAL during the times of covid-19.

Zico coconut water is the best tasting,most nutritious, and least processed coconut water you can get! It is pink in variations of color intensity because it is made from a certain type of coconuts, young “Nam Hom” coconuts which are considered the royalty of all coconuts and the best available on earth, what Filet Mignon is to steak the Nam Hom is to coconuts! Both the flesh and water of this coconuts is often pink and this particular variety of coconut also has the highest concentration of essential electrolytes and other minerals and vitamins in it.
It is more hydrating than water because the electrolytes allow your muscles to absorb the water more readily and efficiently! It’s like natures Gatorade! It is naturally lightly sweet and very refreshing. This water is made by using mainly young Nam Hom coconuts from a small region in Thailand (which is the only place they grow) and blending there water with the water from mature premium coconuts of other Asian varieties.
Other brands such as Harmless Harvest are also known for sometimes being pink due to them using some Nam Hom coconuts in there blend!
This is by far the superior brand of coconut water in taste, freshness, nutrition and value in my opinion. I drink it every day and do not even drink plain water.
You have only to compare the labels of this brand against others to see the difference in the amount of electrolytes provided and if you read the label and see it is a product of Thailand which is the only place on earth the Nam Hom coconut grows you will understand why it is varying shades of pink and why that is a very good thing!
This is my first time ordering it from Amazon and I am pleased with the delivery as well,my order came in about 2 days and arrived in perfect condition sealed in the factory boxes as it should have. ( see pictures) I will be ordering it from Amazon every month now as the price is comparable to the cost in stores and having it delivered to my door makes it an even greater value!
In the end all you have to do is your own research and you can decide for your self, a quick Google search is all it takes to prove everything I have stated here and to know the negative reviews of this product simply have no clue what they are talking about!
I highly recommend this product and this brand specifically! You will love the light sweet taste and very refreshing and thirst quenching quality of it! Do be sure you refrigerate it well as it is far tastier ice cold but avoid pouring it over ice cubes as this will only dilute the flavor and nutritional value! Get a case,try it, and enjoy!
