The “pack of 5” was actually 4 thrown in a bag.

It stated 5 for the quoted price and only 4 arrived.

I got these to raise hardness in a 5.5gl for a mystery snail. In one week, the GH went from 7° to 23° so I removed it (KH was unchanged). It stressed my fish and raised GH way past my target. Probably good for turtles but would not recommend for snails.

    (fwiw I received five blocks)

Works great! These are definitely a better value on Amazon, way more expensive in the store!

Dissolves pretty good. Of course we can’t tell if Rusty the turtle’s shell is stronger, but I will say that the water evaporation has lessened. Took about 2 1/2 weeks for it to dissolve completely. I have pretty good water movement (aeration and a four-stage pump). Probably going to wait a week between each tablet.

He oído referencia de estás piedras para la salud de mi tortuga. Me documente porque son beneficiosas para la salud de su caparazon. Pues aquí ya la tiene a crecer saludable.

I have 2 baby turtles i bought these to condition my well water for them. It seems to do what it’s supposed to just fine, my turtles are growing like weeds and they seem happy and healthy. The calcium block lasts a few weeks or so but your tank will use more when you first start it to condition the water initially.

I have 6 snails (1 black racer nerite and 5 black mystery snails). They were developing white lines along their shells. It was recommended to use a slow-release calcium block for the tank to help put the mineral back into their shells to keep them healthy. It was definitely worked well! The lines have finally vanished and they seem to be growing larger now. They are easy to use, just open it and plop it in there… It is safe for other freshwater fish in the tank. (I have a 20 gal. tank with a Dragon Scale Betta Fish, 6 green cory catfish, and 5 Zebra-Striped Tetra)… I originally had 6 tetras…. but the tiniest one did not make it… I am not sure exactly what happened… It could have been that it was born differently and just did not make it or he pissed off Wonton(my betta fish) for the last time and he head-butted him into the glass and the catfish and snails (being the scavengers that they are) ate as much of his tiny body… Only discovered the carcass and no more tiny tetra (we named him Kratos since small fishies deserve badass names…

Je les ai acheté pour mes escargots et ceux-ci les adorent, ça a aidé à réparer leur coquille car ils manquaient de calcium.

Went to pet store and they wanted to change $30 for the same product same quantity!!!! I was shocked!!! I opened it up…dropped it in with my red eared slider and it was like Xmas in his tank….I never new the importance and feel horrible but seeing him just chomp away and knowing it will dissolve into his water makes my heart happy!!!!
    Thank you so much
    HULK thank you too!!

I feel like these have helped my turtles shells. They last about 10 to 12 days in my tank before completely dissolving.
